Description
Demi is our flexible little dolphin: 5 to 6 cm, finished by hand, with segments that move independently.
How do dolphins talk?
With high-pitched clicks, whistles and other sounds, and also through touch and posture. They use the clicks for echolocation too: from the echo they can tell where something is.
How many kinds of dolphin are there?
Around forty, in seas all over the world. The largest dolphin is the orca, whose males can grow to almost 10 metres. Dolphins mainly eat fish and squid.
More whales and relatives: Soluna the Whale and Nia the Narwhal.
Collectable for ages 14 and up: contains small parts. Colours may differ slightly from the images.
