Description
Dobby is a 3D printed dachshund of 5 to 6 cm. His long body is made of segments that move independently, so he bends along easily.
Where does the dachshund come from?
From Germany. The dachshund was bred to scent, chase and flush out badgers and other burrowing animals, which is where the German name comes from: Dachshund means 'badger dog'. The smaller miniature dachshund was bred to hunt small animals such as rabbits.
Smooth, wire or long hair
Dachshunds can be smooth-haired, wire-haired or long-haired, in various colours. All three have the short legs and long body the breed is known for.
