Ember is our red panda in flexible form: 5 to 6 cm, finished by hand and built from segments that move independently.
Red panda or lesser panda?
Both names are right. The red panda lives in the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China, mainly in forests with dense bamboo. It feeds mostly on bamboo shoots and leaves, but also on fruit and blossoms. Look for the reddish-brown fur, the white-lined ears and the long, ringed tail. The species is endangered.
Not a bear
Despite the name, the red panda is not closely related to the giant panda Mei. It is more closely related to the raccoon Raff.
Collectable for ages 14 and up: contains small parts. Colours may differ slightly from the images.
