Description
Snowy is a collectable shaped like a white cat: 5 to 6 cm, finished by hand and built from segments that move independently.
How long have cats lived with people?
About 9,500 years. The house cat descends from the African wildcat and was domesticated in the Near East, where cats were drawn to the rodents around food stores. A young cat is called a kitten.
Are white cats more often deaf?
Yes. Congenital deafness is far more common in all-white cats than in cats with other coat colours, especially in white cats with blue eyes. Charles Darwin already wrote about it.
Another pet: Dobby the Dachshund. And a mouse to chase: Nibbs.
Collectable for ages 14 and up: contains small parts. Colours may differ slightly from the images.
