Description
Trix is our flexible triceratops: a 5 to 6 cm collectable dinosaur, printed layer by layer, with segments that move independently.
What kind of dinosaur was Triceratops?
A large plant eater with a bony frill and three horns on its head. Triceratops grew to around 8 to 9 metres long and lived in what is now North America, in the same landscape as Tyrannosaurus rex, which most likely preyed on it.
An age named after a Dutch city
Triceratops lived at the end of the Cretaceous, in the Maastrichtian. That age, from about 72 to 66 million years ago, is named after the city of Maastricht in the Netherlands.
