About this animal

Description

Ziggy is a 3D printed lizard: 5 to 6 cm, finished by hand and built from segments that move independently.

Can a lizard change colour?

Some can, such as chameleons, but most lizards are simply green to brown. And chameleons change colour more often to signal to each other than to hide.

What does a lizard do when it is in danger?

It runs or climbs away, and many species can shed their tail. Lizards are cold-blooded: they bask in the sun to warm up so they can move faster. Most of them, tail included, stay under 50 centimetres.

Another reptile: Grizzle the Crocodile. And Loti the Axolotl looks like a lizard, but is an amphibian.

Collectable for ages 14 and up: contains small parts. Colours may differ slightly from the images.
