Description
Ollie is a collectable shaped like an otter: 5 to 6 cm long and built from segments that move independently.
How do otters live?
There are fourteen species of otter. They have a long, slim body, short legs with webbed feet and dense fur that keeps them warm and helps them float. They mainly eat fish. Otters are known as playful animals: they slide into the water on natural slides and play with small stones. Sea otters crack open shellfish with a stone on their chest.
Otters in the Netherlands
The Eurasian otter died out in the Netherlands. Today the species is on the rise again.
