Description
Pip is a 3D printed hamster of 5 to 6 cm, with segments that move independently, finished by hand.
What does a hamster do with its cheek pouches?
It gathers food. Hamsters fill their roomy cheek pouches, which extend to their shoulders, and carry the food to storage chambers underground. With full cheeks their head can look two to three times as big.
Hamsters in the wild
Wild hamsters live in dry, open areas such as steppes and farmland. The golden hamster is the best-known pet hamster, and the common hamster also lives in the Netherlands and Belgium. Hamsters are mostly active at dusk and at night.
More small rodents: Nibbs the Mouse. Rabbits like Bella are not rodents, by the way.
