Description
Tavi is a collectable shaped like a baby tiger: 5 to 6 cm, printed layer by layer, with segments that move independently.
What is a baby tiger called?
A cub. A tigress usually gives birth to two or three cubs at a time, sometimes up to seven. At birth they weigh about 0.8 to 1.6 kilos and are still blind. The cubs stay with their mother for about two years and then find a home range of their own. What other baby animals are called, from calf to duckling, is in our list of baby animal names.
Where do tigers live?
In Asia, mainly in forests, from the Russian Far East to India and Southeast Asia. The tiger is a big cat with orange fur and black stripes. Tigers are good swimmers and often bathe in ponds and rivers.
Also from Asia: Mei the Panda and Ember the Red Panda.
Collectable for ages 14 and up: contains small parts. Colours may differ slightly from the images.
